Doors will open half an hour beforehand and the bar in the Alan Rough Lounge will be available for a drink. Join your fellow fans for a natter ahead of proceedings. The Lounge can be accessed from the Jackie Husband Stand.
What is the AGM for?
The AGM is an annual gathering of the members of the Foundation, and is an important part of the corporate governance of TJF 1876 Limited (the company we all know as The Jags Foundation).
It allows our members to hold the leadership group, the directors, to account for TJF’s activities in the preceding year.
How can I attend/take part?

Members are encouraged to attend in-person at Firhill Stadium if they can.
If you can’t make it in person, you can ask to participate remotely by videoconference.
If you can’t make it at all, you can ask to appoint a “proxy” to attend physically and speak/vote in your place. The easiest way to do this is to appoint the Chair as your proxy and to provide voting instructions using our online proxy form.
Requests for remote participation, or to appoint a proxy, must be received no later than Monday 8th June at 7:30pm.
What will we discuss and decide?
Special Resolution - Term Limits
Proposed New Articles of Association
(PDF)
Members will then be asked to vote to replace TJF’s existing Articles of Association. The proposed new Articles are identical to the existing Articles of Association except for Articles 77-78, which govern director appointments and term-limits.
At the moment, the maximum elected term of office for a TJF director is three years. If the resolution is approved by at least 75% of those voting, this term limit will be reduced to two years.
This proposal has been brought forward after a members consultation in February. We received strong feedback from members that three year terms were too long, and were discouraging members from putting themselves forward for election.
Ordinary Resolution - Fan Group Consolidation
TJF’s board is also proposing a resolution on fan group consolidation. We would like to see the fan ownership structure simplified. We think there should eventually be only one fans organisation, rather than three distinct but interlinked ones as there are at the moment.
Consolidation of the groups is not within the gift of TJF to deliver on its own. However, if this resolution is endorsed by members, TJF’s board will use its “best endeavours” to secure the consolidation or merger of the fan groups, and provide an update on progress made by the end of 2026. Any merger proposal would still need to be approved at a future TJF general meeting.
Our original fan ownership structure is a product of our history and a series of compromises made in late 2022. But more than 3 years on, it is clear to us that the model doesn’t deliver the most efficient and transparent form of fan ownership that the Partick Thistle support deserves.
We’ll say more on why we think this consolidation is an important priority at the AGM.
Financial Resolutions - Proposals for Pledges

We are inviting members to take three decisions on key financial pledges for the 2026-27 season.
The TJF Board is recommending that the members endorse:
Renewing the Foundation’s existing pledge to the Football Club at at least £12,500 per month
Renewing the Foundation’s pledge to the Youth Academy at at least £2,000 per month
Renewing the Foundation’s pledge to the Women’s Team at at least £5,000 for the season 2026-27

TJF Election Results 2026
(see Elections page)
The Chair of TJF, Lynsey Kane, will also provide a Chair’s report, summarising the many different activities the Foundation has been involved in in the last year.
We will also be announcing the result of the TJF 2026 Director Elections at the AGM. Thursday 28th May is the deadline for nominations.
E-ballots will go out in just over a week’s time to everyone who was a member at the start of the election period (as of 12:01am BST on Thursday 7th May).
Members will then have until Sunday 7th June at 10pm BST to cast their ballots.
Q&A with the TJF Board
🗣️👂
After the formal business has been dealt with, there will be a Q&A session.
Members will have the opportunity to put questions to the TJF Board.
If you’d like to submit a question in advance, this would be very helpful. You can do this using our dedicated online form or by email. Doing this can help us avoid duplication and ensure as many questions get answered as possible in the time available.
However, we will also take questions on the night, both from those attending in-person and online.
More on Proxy Forms
The easiest way to apply for a proxy is to complete the online form.
However, you can also fill in a regular form and email it to secretary@thejagsfoundation.co.uk or post it to TJF’s registered office.
