Sunday’s hugely successful open day at Firhill saw several new sign-ups to The Jags Foundation. We’d like to thank every one of those new members – adult and junior – for supporting fan ownership.

Among them are four members of Partick Thistle Women’s FC: captain Demi Falconer; current longest-serving player Clare Docherty; defender Leah Robinson; and forward Jordan McLintock.

Building a partnership

Their backing further strengthens the ties between TJF and PTWFC.

Last season we were proud to sponsor three PTWFC matches, donate the proceeds of our Mhairi Hawksworth Pin to the team and welcome women’s manager Brian Graham into the TJF fold.

Why Demi and Clare decided to join

PTWFC captain Demi Falconer explained why she decided to join TJF.

“I’m delighted to become a member of The Jags Foundation along with some of my teammates. The continued support of TJF to help raise awareness of the women’s team hasn’t gone unnoticed.
“Since joining the club I’ve loved every minute of it and feel there’s a real family vibe to Thistle. This is something that the Foundation strives towards by bringing the club closer to the community.
“Being able to give back to TJF by becoming a member and supporting them the same way they support us at PTWFC was something I couldn’t say no to.”

Clare Docherty added:

“I’m happy to sign up and help contribute to the Club’s future. The fans have been fantastic to me since I’ve signed and really made me feel part of this club, this is my way of giving back.”

How you can give back

The best way you can support PTWFC is by getting along to games at Petershill on Sunday afternoons.

The PTWFC games are a welcoming environment in which to introduce kids and irregulars into football and the Partick Thistle community.

A season ticket for the PTWFC team is just £75. That’s just £5 per game.

If you’re already a men’s season ticket holder, it’s even better value, just £50 for top flight fixtures.

So Be Part Of This. Back the PTWFC this season and let’s see Brian Graham’s side surpass expectations again!
