I’m not going to lie to you, last night was a sore one. I really thought we were going to do it, and I know so many of you felt the same. Waking up today, it still hurts. But even in the middle of that disappointment, I keep coming back to what this season has actually been about, the connection between this team and our support.
It’s been real, and it’s been powerful. Through every high and every low, the one constant has been us, the fans. Players will come and go, but what makes this Club what it is, is us.
The noise, the backing, the way people have shown up week after week… it’s something we should all be proud of. You could feel it in the stands and you could see what it meant to the players. That doesn’t disappear because of one result.
To every single one of our members: thank you. Genuinely. Your support, your patience, your belief in what we’re trying to build, it’s meant everything. This is my last message to you as Chair before our AGM on Wednesday 10th June and I want to say personally how grateful I am for the trust you’ve placed in me and in The Jags Foundation. It’s been a privilege to represent you.
And while the season didn’t finish the way any of us hoped, the work continues. The direction of travel matters. The togetherness matters. Let’s keep backing the team, both at Firhill and Petershill. Let’s keep backing each other. And let’s keep backing TJF.
Help us grow the membership to and beyond 2,000. Increase your monthly pledge if you can. Consider standing in our elections.
Stand up and be counted. Make it your Foundation.
