Last week, the trustees gave formal approval (under the Club-Trust Agreement) for Iain Gordon to join the Club Board.
Iain is a lifelong Partick Thistle fan, with considerable business and commercial experience. A cell biologist by education, he has had a successful business career in the medical devices sector, and has built thriving sales teams in many different countries as part of his day-job. Now spending more time back in Scotland, Iain is in a position to dedicate the necessary time to join the Club Board and to support its efforts to grow commercial revenues and build long-term sustainability.
We are confident, from our discussions with him and the Club Board, that he will make a positive contribution to the senior leadership team at the Club, providing support and constructive challenge and helping to build commercial and operational capacity behind the scenes.
We wish Iain well as he settles into the new role and look forward to working more closely with him in the weeks and months ahead.
Fan Rep Director vacancy
We hope to be in a position to launch the vote for the Fan Rep Director elections very soon. There has been a slight delay on original timelines as we seek to compile and verify the beneficiary database, making sure everyone eligible gets a vote. We anticipate this will be resolved this week.
