Fan Rep Director Vacancy – Shortlist Confirmed

The PTFC Trust trustees received two nominations for the Fan Rep Director vacancy on the Football Club Board. After careful consideration of their CVs and Statements of Expression of Interest, the trustees have decided to shortlist both candidates.

The two candidates are Allan McGraw and John Kane, both longstanding Partick Thistle fans well known to the wider support.

The next stage for filling this vacancy will be a beneficiary vote. This puts in the hands of Partick Thistle’s fan owners the decision which of the two candidates should join the Club Board in this Fan Rep capacity. The candidate that receives the most votes in the ballot will be duly elected to serve on the Board of Directors until the Club’s late 2028 AGM, subject to meeting Scottish FA requirements.

Candidate statements will shortly be published online, and will also appear in tomorrow’s match-day programme for the game against Raith Rovers.

If you are over the age of 16 and any of the following, you will be eligible to vote in the beneficiary ballot, which we expect will take place in late September or early October:

  • a Partick Thistle season ticket-holder (including 71 Club members)
  • a member of The Jags Foundation
  • a member of The Jags Trust

Further correspondence will be issued to beneficiaries via email in due course, explaining the voting process and next steps.
