It was great to see so many fans at the Banzo Testimonial fixture at Firhill in September, cheering on a Thistle stalwart. We hope the entertainment served up by Banzo – and his team-mates past and present – brought back some fond memories.
The response to the Banzo Testimonial year has been phenomenal. The race night and golf days were also a great success, and have helped to provide the fitting tribute that Stuart deserves for his decade of service.
The finale event being run by the Testimonial Committee is Banzo’s Big Bash at the Grosvenor Hotel. It takes place after the Dundee United game on Saturday 21st October. It promises to be an evening of good food, drink and all-round entertainment. A real chance for Thistle fans to get together and show our appreciation to the Bishopbriggs Boy at the heart of our team.
