Back in June 2024, TJF’s members made three financial promises for the season ahead.
We made three promises
Our commitments were made to the Football Club, the Youth Academy and the Women’s Team
- At least £12,500 per month to the Club (£150k over the season)
- At least £2,000 per month to the Youth Academy (£24k per season)
- At least £5,000 of support to PTWFC across the season (more than trebling previous levels of support)
And they were fulfilled
In April, we made our fifth £1,000 payment of the season to PTWFC.
And today we make our twelfth £12,500 and £2,000 payments to the Club and Academy respectively.
In short, we made three promises together, and they’ve all been fulfilled.
And then some!
Except they’ve not just been fulfilled.
Because of your additional fundraising, the Club has received over £170k from the Foundation in the 2024-25 season.
The Foundation Shirts initiative made our second Hospitality Take-Over day possible, topping-up our contribution above the season-long £150k target.
And our additional fundraising and joint initiatives, including Thistle Pins, auctions, raffles and the Petershill Takeover day, mean that we’ll have funded almost £2k extra support in initiatives for PTWFC.
This season TJF’s combined fundraising across its three pledges has exceeded £200k.
So THANK YOU to all our members: the 1800+ strong red and yellow army who are laying the foundations for the future.

We would like to go further in our financial support for the Club. But to do that, we need to grow our membership further and to ramp up our fundraising in the 2025-26 season.
Membership is up by almost 200 since last summer, but we’d like to get beyond that. The road to 2000 continues.

Almost 250 TJF members contribute regularly over and above their monthly membership payment for which we are very grateful.
We know that every contribution helps to make a difference. We have affordable membership rates for all circumstances, at £10pm (General), £5pm (Concession) or £1pm (Basic).
