Message from the Chair

I’ve been thinking a lot about where we are as a Club right now. Not in a big dramatic way, just in that honest, gut-level way you do when you care about something deeply. And the truth is, this season has felt different. You can see it in the players, you can feel it in the stands, and you can sense it in the way we’ve all pulled together.

Nothing about this year was expected. Nobody predicted the connection that’s grown between the team and the support. But it’s real. It’s strong. And it’s been one of the best I’ve ever been part of.

This week we go up against Dunfermline in the playoff semi-final and the team needs us. Properly needs us there, in numbers giving them the backing they’ve earned. They’ve given everything for us. Now it’s our turn.

Let’s show Mark, Alex and every one of the boys exactly what they mean to us. Let’s fill the stands. Let’s lift them. Let’s make it impossible for them to forget who they’re playing for.

For me, this all lands with a bit of emotion. My three‑year term is coming to an end, and it’s hard to put into words what it’s meant to serve you and to have a direct hand in supporting the Club we all love. It’s been a privilege. A genuine one.

But TJF has never been about one person. It’s about all of us. With elections coming up, I want to encourage people to stand. If you care about Thistle, if you believe in fan representation, if you want to help shape what comes next, then your voice matters more than you think. Fresh energy and new perspectives are what keep the Foundation strong.

This is our Club. Our Future. Our Hands.
Let’s make it count.
