As you will have now seen, Three Black Cats wishes to proceed with an alternative ownership destination other than The Jags Foundation. We thought it was important to let you know that we had been removed from the process last night.

For the avoidance of doubt, we still do not know for certain who this alternative group is. It is incomprehensible to us that they can have put forward a “fan-centric” proposal without having first made themselves known and accountable to the fans. We call upon them now to reveal who they are, openly and publicly, so that the fans can scrutinise what they propose for our club.

For obvious reasons we could not give a full and thorough account so soon afterwards that would properly articulate what happened at yesterday evening’s meeting. During our discussions with Three Black Cats, we were also constrained by expectations of confidentiality, which thankfully no longer apply.

This puts us in a position now to explain to you exactly how those discussions went, what role we had in that process, how we adapted and compromised, and how we were treated in response. This forms a PDF document, which you can download below. As fans, and as members of our organisation, you deserve that explanation.
