This evening we are proud to announce that the third Thistle Pin depicts none other than Jackie Husband!

Jackie had an association with our football club that is simply without parallel. Player, captain, coach, physio and kit-man. With the exception of a short spell as Queen of the South manager, Jackie Husband spent his entire adult life at the Jags in one capacity or another. His name proudly takes its place on the stand that replaced the Shed and he will always be known as Mr Partick Thistle.

We worked closely with Jackie’s family to pick out an image of him that holds special meaning for them and are delighted with the result. We are also grateful to Andy Imrie (Andy the Photo Doctor) for colourising the original black and white photograph, bringing this memory vividly to life for the current generation of Thistle fans.

Am I eligible to buy a Husband Pin?

Husband Pins are available to purchase by members of The Jags Foundation. They will cost £10 (including P&P). There is a limited supply, and they will be going on sale on Thursday 29th September at 7pm.

How can I reserve a Husband Pin?

As long as you are an active member of TJF, you should receive an email at 7pm on Thursday, with a link to fill in a form.

Your membership number will be in the header of the email we send to you, so please include it when completing the form.

If you are successful in reserving a Pin, we will send you a further email link with payment instructions.

You can opt to have your Husband Pin delivered to you or you can collect it at a Firhill match day, at one of our stalls.

What about the McParland and Doolan Pins?

All members should have received an email update this evening, advising about the latest situation with McParland Pins and Doolan Pins. If you are a member and haven’t received this email, please get in touch at membership@thejagsfoundation.co.uk.
