Everyone at The Jags Foundation is saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Janice Davidson.
Janice was for many people their first interaction with the club. The smiling face that greeted you at the front desk or served you that first pint in the Aitken Suite or Alan Rough lounge. The person who always made sure that birthday party at Firhill was one to remember, who knew what was required before you even had to ask.
As recently as last Monday she facilitated a fantastic night for our members at the Meet The Managers event. As ever, she was there when we arrived to set up and still there when left at the end of the evening. Nothing was ever too big an ask or too much trouble for Janice, she became not only a valued member of staff but a great ambassador for the club too.
It goes without saying that our thoughts at this moment in time are with her family, her friends, her colleagues at Firhill and everyone else who will feel this loss so heavily. We are sure this will be echoed by all our members, many of whom will have their own memories of Janice and the small, often unseen gestures that made her the caring individual she was.
