Quarter Final Ticketing Issues

The Jags Foundation calls for cancelled tickets to be refunded and for clarity on data sharing arrangements

We are aware that a number of spectators have had their tickets (in the home end) for tomorrow’s Scottish Cup tie cancelled, and that they were advised they would not receive any refund. This is understandably frustrating for those affected, and we’ve already raised the issue directly with our counterparts at SMiSA and St Mirren.

TJF has asked St Mirren that refunds are offered to affected spectators, and we have been clear to both Clubs that fans’ data should only ever be shared with third parties where there is either (a) a clear legal necessity or (b) explicit consent. Supporters deserve transparency and respect in how decisions are made on both ticketing and data sharing, and TJF’s Board feels this episode hasn’t met that standard.

We have made our position known privately, and will follow up with more information once we have a detailed response. For now, the focus is on backing the team tomorrow. Let’s make sure our next ticketing dilemma is one at Hampden.
