The strong and continued growth in TJF membership boosts our income and reserves. Thank you to everyone who has joined, renewed, or upped their pledge in recent weeks.
This growth has, in particular, allowed the Foundation to make two major community contributions this week, with an eye on next season.
The 2026-27 Tifo Fundraiser
Firstly, TJF has made a £1,000 donation to the Thistle Ultras tifo displays fund for season 2026-27.
For a couple of years now, some of our younger fans have been regularly dipping into their own pockets to bring colour and atmosphere to Firhill and in the away end when Thistle are on the road. These displays make Firhill an exciting and lively place to be, and are a vital part of the Club’s strategy to grow our fanbase.
Our organised and passionate singing section in the Lambie is now a core part of Partick Thistle and roots our Club in the local community. That they’ve raised almost £10k shows how appreciated their efforts have been by the wider support.
Jags For Good Season Ticket Appeal
The second initiative we’ve backed is the Jags For Good season ticket fundraiser, also with a £1,000 donation. For several seasons now, Jags For Good has raised funds towards season tickets for local charities and community groups, as well as for use by fans impacted by cost of living pressures.
They’ve helped to ensure that Firhill is a place for everyone, whatever their situation, and keeps more local people active in the Thistle family, irrespective their immediate circumstances.
The Jags For Good fundraiser was launched just this week, and has already raised almost half of its £5k target. And for every pound donated, the Club will match it. We encourage you to make a contribution if you feel able, and to support their amazing work in Maryhill and the wider North Glasgow community.
