Thistle’s title-winning campaign of 2012-13 is fondly remembered by Jags fans young and old. It was the triumph of Kids over Experience. Week after week, the Firhill faithful were entertained by a young, energetic, and fearlessly creative team. Goals galore, a conga or two, and allegedly a fog machine at Cowdenbeath…

That side would so often dominate games with a swagger and overcome even the most challenging of situations. And of course, there was that Wednesday night under the Firhill floodlights, with around 9,000 fans present to see James Craigen put the ball in the Morton net.
