Paul Goodwin
My name is Paul Goodwin and I am applying to be a Fan Representative Director at Partick Thistle. I believe my experience in football and wider business will be an asset to the club.
I have a wide business background including, Board Positions at Scottish & Newcastle and HMV where I served as Marketing Director. I ran my own Marketing Agency, Big Blue Star, which also allowed me to work pro bono for the club in attracting sponsorship deals such as Resolution Asset, MacB and Ignis. My specialism was in sponsorship activation. I ran all the below the line activity for Nationwide’s 10 year multi award winning England team sponsorship. I also consulted for the SFA and developed deals with Tesco & William Hill.
I led the high profile campaign to take my local club Stirling Albion into community ownership. I ran the club for 2 years. I was subsequently employed by the Scottish Government to help Scottish Football fans be better represented. Community Ownership became my calling card and I worked across Scotland helping at Hearts, Motherwell and many others. I Co Founded the SFSA and led the initial campaign to make Thistle Community owned.

Alistair Gray
I’ve been a Thistle fan/ST holder for over 50 years and I’ve been privileged to be a Fan Elected Director for the current period.
It’s an onerous position and I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to serve the Club. I’ve tried my best to represent the Club with integrity, transparency, accountability and 100% commitment at all times, and it’s been rewarding and hard going in equal measure.
The ongoing engagement with Schools, Colleges, Universities and Community Groups are starting to prove fruitful and continued momentum will in time bring in a new generation of Jags fans.
Behind the scenes we’re working hard on making the Club sustainable financially while trying to put an attractive and successful team on the park and I’m sure that we’re heading in the right direction on both fronts although it’s a constantly challenging task. There’s always a financial tension between infrastructure and playing squad and I’ve done my best to assist in striking the right balance.
If you’re able to support my candidacy rest assured I’ll give it my all 24/7 in the dedicated service of the Club to repay your trust as I’ve tried my utmost to do during the current term.

Max Ramsay
A lifelong Jags fan, I’m a third-generation supporter with season-ticket holder kids. Through promotions, relegations, cold Firhill and away day afternoons, I’m reminded what the club means. The spirit on the terraces is about resilience, humour, and doing things our own way. I want to protect that identity and ensure our fan-owned model stays independent, transparent, and built to last.
Professionally, I bring 25 years of experience in media and technology; C-level and board roles at Immediate Media, Deltatre, and Massive Interactive, and running my start-up, Avega. At Deltatre/Massive, I led the creation of global sports platforms connecting millions of fans to live football and engaged online communities.
Moving from a full-time role into a flexible career, I have the time and invest fully in supporting the club’s progress. Having volunteered with the club to review digital systems, I’ve gained first-hand insight into where opportunities lie ahead. I’ll use my experience to strengthen how Thistle connects with the terraces, safeguards independence, and guide sustainable financial growth.
Fan ownership is a privilege and a responsibility. I’d be honoured to use my experience and lifelong connection to shape a stable and ambitious future for the club we all love, and represent Thistle.
