Fan ownership delivered
Today, we are able to share a momentous high with our members. We can confirm that The Jags Foundation, together with The Jags Trust, have been appointed as trustees of the trust holding the majority shareholding in The Partick Thistle Football Club Limited.
This was the recommendation of the Working Group set up in late 2022, overwhelmingly endorsed recently in a beneficiary vote.

What this means
This means members of TJF are beneficiaries of the Trust and therefore part owners of our Football Club. It also means democracy will be at the heart of any future major decisions of our Football Club.
You will have noted recently that TJF have been respected and influential around Firhill, and long may that continue. Now that TJF have been appointed as a Corporate Trustee, we will continue to enhance and formalise aspects of the fledgling working relationships between the Club and TJF – a positive relationship which our members will all be a part of.
We always said we wanted to show ‘what good looks like’ and we will continue to strive to do so and look to demonstrate the best in governance, engagement and financial sustainability of our Football Club.
Thank you
We would like to thank all of our members for your incredible support which convinced us, and in fact compelled us, to keep fighting for a fan ownership model worth it’s name. We would also like to thank the individual trustees and Club Board members who have supported these positive, unifying, and forward-looking developments.
We look forward to working with The Jags Trust, and the remaining individual Trustees whilst they continue.
Finally, I would like to welcome all of our members to being fan owners of their Football Club. We look forward to being on this journey with you all.
Best wishes
Sandy Fyfe
Chair, TJF
