Message from the PTFC Trust trustees
Resignation of Club Chair - Richard Beastall
As the Club has confirmed earlier today, Richard Beastall has intimated his resignation as Chair and Director of the Football Club.
The trustees thank Richard for his three years of service during a challenging period, in which he served as finance director and later also as chair of the Football Club. We wish him and his family well for the future.
Club AGM Update
In recent weeks, the Club has been making preparations for its Annual General Meeting. We had originally been advised that this would take place either in late November or early December 2025.
Delays in the finalisation of the accounts for season 2024-25 have meant that the AGM will now take place in early 2026.
Club Board Renewal
Ahead of the AGM, the trustees have been carrying out an appraisal process of club directors seeking reappointment, as provided for under the Club-Trust Agreement.
This has included interviews with some of the Club Directors and we are grateful for their thorough and candid engagement with that process.
Further information about Club Board composition will follow when notice of the AGM is made to shareholders.
Delivery on the Pitch
The focus of the Club’s leadership team – Board, trustees and senior staff alike – remains firmly on supporting Mark Wilson and the side’s excellent start to the league campaign.
A large and vocal Red And Yellow Army at Somerset Park on Saturday could make all the difference.
