The 2025-26 season has barely finished and we’re probably all now thinking about the World Cup. But the 2026-27 season will soon be upon us and it’s time to start thinking about junior memberships of The Jags Foundation!
All Under 16’s are eligible for non-voting membership of TJF – and getting a child a membership is a great way to get them hooked into Thistle. As well as committing them to a lifetime of heartache. We were delighted to have 108 junior memberships last season and hope we can build on that this year.
The price has increased slightly this season – now £15 for the season – but this will help us continue our financial support to the Club while also affording an even better membership gift…
Membership Gift 2026-27
This year, all under 16 members are eligible to receive their very own Partick Thistle and The Jags Foundation co-branded scarf.
A stylish number, based on a classic from many years ago and suitable for all occasions, we want them to wear it to Firhill with pride and to raise it above their heads as we sing ‘Return to Firhill Road’.
How do I sign-up a completely new Junior TJF member?
This is really easy to do. Just visit our website and fill-in the sign-up form.
Please make clear using the form if you are signing-up a junior member on their behalf. This means we can link-up their junior membership record properly to their responsible adult!
How do I renew a Junior membership?
If a young Jag is already, or was previously, a Junior TJF member, you can still use the sign-up form, but please select Renew Membership on the form and enter their membership number.
This will make sure they keep their existing number and records when their membership renews for the 2026-27 season.
If you’re unsure of a junior member’s number, it should be on any recent circular email from us, but if you can’t find it, drop us an email.
We’ve renewed… how do we get the scarf?
Once your junior membership has been confirmed for season 2026-27, you’ll be able to collect your junior member’s scarf from Firhill.
We’ll confirm arrangements in due course, but likely the first opportunity will be at a home game in either July or August.
If you need us to make alternative arrangements to get the scarf to your young Jag, drop us an email.
My young Jag's turned 16... what now?
Once a Thistle fan turns 16, they become eligible to become a full voting member of TJF, and to make a regular monthly pledge. They can do this by completing the adult sign-up form on our website.
As an added incentive to transition to a full membership, anyone aged 16 or 17 who makes a monthly pledge before the end of August 2026 will also be eligible to receive a TJF scarf gift.
Building the match-day experience for young Jags
As a dad of three, I want Firhill to be a fun and welcoming place for the next generation of Thistle fans. At TJF we’re working with the Club to explore how to make the young fan and family experience even better for season 2026-27.
If you have any ideas, or would like to get involved with these efforts, drop us an email, it would be great to hear from you!
